Volunteer Support Officer - Talk and Support Groups

Full Time: 34.5 hours a week (Hybrid Working)

Salary:
£24,254.88 per annum

Contract:
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Epilepsy Action is committed to a better world for people with epilepsy

We have recently been through an exciting period of change and are looking for passionate people who share our values to join our team.

Our in person and virtual Talk and Support groups bring together people with a lived experience to support each other.

They provide a space where they can talk openly, feel accepted and understood.

In this role, you would be working within our services department, helping to coordinate, support, engage and develop our group volunteers.

You will also be involved in service delivery, hosting our virtual groups.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be involved at the heart of service delivery

- experience of working with volunteers
- ability to facilitate online peer support groups
- excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds

- a professional work ethic: honest, conscientious, self motivated and reliable.
