Assistant Accountant

Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire our award-winning client are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role would suit an early AAT studier with some experience in a similar position.

This company are a successful business within the technology industry.

They have grown rapidly since being founded and have now grown into a multinational business, with a great reputation in their industry.

They now have a group turnover of circa 30millionand have around 100 employees globally. The company are the got to business in their industry and have built a great reputation with their clients.

The successful individual will have strong communication and confidence dealing with external stakeholders, so excellent English and writing skills are essential.

They will have good time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficientlyunder pressure.

For this role you will need to be IT competent with excellent MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Job responsibilities:

Credit card expenses
Roll over of monthly Management Accounts files and supporting workbooks
Bank reconciliation & ancillary schedules
Intercompany invoicing
Closing of AR & AP ledgers
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Income Adjustments
Job board analysis
VAT Return checks
