About the Role:


We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is well-organised and has a keen eye for detail to join our team to provide support in an office environment to all members of the department.

The main responsibilities will include data entry of patient and sample information onto the laboratory databases including undertaking procedures to check or clarify the information, assisting with routine office tasks including receiving and forwarding telephone enquiries, checking of patient information on laboratory reports, report distribution, copying and archiving paperwork linked with samples and despatch of samples and laboratory materials.


About you:


  • Good level of general education 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A-C to include Maths and English,
  • Previous experience in an administrative office role,
  • Use of Windows, Microsoft Office programs including Outlook,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English,
  • Calm, professional and polite telephone manner,
  • Excellent keyboard and transcription skills,
  • Exceptional attention to detail,
  • Ability work efficiently by prioritising tasks,
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,816.00-£24,336.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oxford, OX3 7LE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
