Activity Coordinator

Duties:

Plan, organize, and coordinate activities for individuals in a social work setting.

- assist with meals

Develop and implement activity schedules to ensure a variety of engaging and stimulating activities for participants.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and activity participation.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants during activities.

Requirements:

Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Knowledge of aging issues, including physical, cognitive, and emotional changes.
Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage activity schedules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with participants, families, and staff members.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals facing challenges.
