Duties:


  • Undertake a range of tasks including assessments and interventions as related to their role
  • Undertake assessments and interventions as required to meet the service needs
  • Fullfil reporting function in relation to Statutory work
  • Development of care plans and risk assessments and to complete systems based paperwork
  • Work and communicate as part of a team
  • Any other tasks and duties commensurate with the role to be advised by the Team Leader

Requirements of the Mental Health Officer:

  • Have a degree in Social Work and Post Graduate MHO Qualification
  • Hold appropriate registration with regulator(SSSC)
  • Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK
  • Current/recent training in: Adult Support & Protection (Council Officer preferred)
  • Full U.K driving licence essential
