We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an internship/undergraduate placement to join our procurement team supporting our operational offshore wind farms.
Your future
- Support the coordination and implementation of procurement activities for RWE's offshore wind farms, learning to carry out procurement activities across the whole procurement lifecycle
- Undertake supplier prequalification using the RWE online PQQ system
- Assist category managers in preparing tender documents
- Build RFI/RFQs within RWE online eTendering tool
- Analyse and evaluate tender documents and create price comparisons
- Convert purchase requisitions in the SAP system
- Place contracts with suppliers for the supply of goods and services
- Support preparation of both internal and external meetings
Your profile
- University student or graduate ideally in the area of supply chain, operations management, business, law, or engineering
- Intercultural understanding of working with different cultures
- Very good communication skills (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills combined with a creative mindset and proactiveness
- Ability to work independently and in a team and to work to tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills to establish rapport, motivate others and manage resistance to change
- Excellent organisational and multitask skills
