SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER | FASHION | MANCHESTER | ECOM BUSINESS | UP TO £48,000

Due to the rapid growth that this e-tailer is experiencing, they are now looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the business to executing a streamlined, quick and easy customer experience.

You will naturally be a problem solver and someone who has always been a methodical and process driven individual.

It is imperative for the role of Supply Chain Manager that you always have Plan B for when fluctuating markets impact the delivery of products& services for the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Deep dive and own the returns rate process and the impact to bottom line figures for the business
Analyse all eventualities of fluctuating freight rates and exchange rates, ensuring that forecasting scenarios are always shared with the wider business
Constantly think and look at ways to derisk MACRO economic impacts to the consumer experience and ROI for the business
Manage the return rates, with a special focus on garment tech teams and design
You will want to understand the product teams due diligence around fit sessions, supplier communication, testing, reporting, return rates on a weekly basis, factory auditing, and the supplier onboarding process
Maintain current and build on new freight, and 3rd party logistic forwarders relationships
Review freight businesses being utilitised
Look to exit or onboard new vendors
Have experience with monitoring warehouse (WMS), carton and general fulfilment utilisation
Monitor all contracts agreed and signed between the brand and stakeholders
Be fair but firm around carrier costs with said stakeholders
Work with product teams for product cut off dates, seasonality risks and impact of trading with lead time impacts
Have a sound understanding of custom requirements and protocols for the USA and EUROPE
Work closely to Customer Service teams around brand loyalty to the customer experience i.e rewards & refunds

You will be:

Experienced in B2B or B2C supply chain or logistics
Strong negotiator
Able to cross cost and plan for exit strategies
Data happy Must love getting into the detail and analysing automated reporting across a number of software platforms
Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) is a must
