Join us as a Benefits Manager working with the Counter Terrorism Police (CTP)
(Hybrid - 1 or 2 days per week in the London office, Permanent, Full Time)

The role
To stay one step ahead of terrorist threats, policing must evolve continuously. That means change is hugely important and requires skilled experts.

As a benefits manager, you'll join the national Change team in the Counter Terrorism Policing HQ (CTPHQ), whereyou'll help to deliver projects and programmes that help us keep people across the UK safe from terrorism.

With national security at stake, your skills will be crucial.

Joining our rapidly growing Portfolio Office and Change Management team, you'll help manage a complex and diverse portfolio of projects and programmes.

What we're looking for
You will have a varied role, where no two days are the same.

You will have responsibilities for both benefits management and the unpinning centre of excellence material required to support successful delivery.

You will join the team with a broad understandingof benefits and with training and support will become a specialist in your field.

Please note, the job description is used as a framework to review and manage performance when an individual is in post, and therefore not all skills and experience are required from the outset.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate some of these skillsand is willing to learn and develop in order to achieve these objectives.

Skills Required Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and tactfully with people at all levels, so as to provide effective challenge to support delivery of benefits realisation, and support people with limited knowledge of effectivebenefits management.

Use information to support effective decision making, including providing a visual representation of critical information which is easily understandable at all levels.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring that benefits management products are accurate and contain the necessary information to support effective decision making.

Good planning and organisational skills, able to meet demanding deadlines in a pressured environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, both within the change portfolio and externally.
Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing solutions

Self-starter, confident and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to tight deadlines with plenty of initiative, with the ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.

Strong IT skills in the use of Microsoft Products especially Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Vetting
This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis.

Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post.

You must also have a willingnessto undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.
