About the role:


The global Corporate Function Human Resources team is looking for an innovative and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team.

  • Drive key HR topics including support across the business to ensure strong engagement and retention of our people.
  • Ensure execution of HR processes (Performance Management, Compensation, Talent Management, Inclusion & Diversity )
  • Active consultation of our employees in all HRrelated topics and processes
  • Provide advice, coaching and support for managers to aid in their leadership role and responsibilities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for your client groups working closely with them on all people related matters.
  • Execute, support, and implement various global and regional talent programs.
  • Collaborate with global Avanade HR colleagues on key people initiatives and talent programs.

Your qualifications

  • Proven track record of acting as the primary HR contact for a business group where you have knowledge and expertise in the following HR disciplines: compensation, benefits, employee relations, employment laws, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management and professional development
  • Experience working with a global business unit and virtual clients and colleagues
  • Experience working in a global matrixed company and HR organisation (offshore, centres of excellence, shared services)
  • Experience developing and executing successful talent programs and initiatives
  • A growth mindset and project management experience
  • Passion for data and analytics in helping to drive people initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong ER experience (appeals, grievances, performance management guidance, etc.)
  • Experience managing engagement surveys including actions from the results.
  • High performer development and retention, talent reviews and succession planning

Your Experience:


  • Proven track record of acting as the primary HRBP contact for client groups.
  • You likely have at least 5 to 7+ years of increasing HR experience, including some managing global businesses and working with senior leadership.
  • Professional Services and/or Technology Company experience preferred.
  • University degree preferred, but not required with equivalent work experience.
