    About VIKASO

    We are a Robot integration company, fully focused on Collaborative Robots (Cobots), with the goal of being the most innovative Cobot integrator in the UK market.

    As a start-up, every day brings new challenges and opportunities. We believe in flat hierarchies and cross-functional collaboration is at the heart of our engineering approach.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design & develop a Cobot application in CAD.
    • Create bespoke mechanical solutions for projects.
    • Develop virtual simulations of applications.
    • Evaluate electrical systems and select components for robotics applications.
    • Program industrial devices such as PLCs, Safety Scanners, Vision Systems, and Sensors.
    • Generate electrical schematics.
    • Implement control circuits in hardware.
    • Program Cobots.
    • Coordinate manufacturing of equipment and support build.
    • Liaise with software engineers and project managers to ensure project scope and timeline are met.
    • Provide on-site support for Cobot installation and commissioning.
    • Offer standby support to customers after commissioning.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Controls Engineering or equivalent.
    • Basic knowledge of CAD and simulation tools.
    • Understanding of programming and electrical systems.
    • A mindset that fosters innovation and going beyond expectations.
    • Attention to detail and focus on quality.
    • Periodic business travel and a valid driving license.
    • Knowledge/experience in Robotics/Cobots.
    • Familiarity with Java and/or Python preferred.

    What We Offer:

    • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
