Building Surveyor 12 month FTC - Head Office South East London £41,000 - £45,000

An amazing opportunity for a Building Surveyor has arisen for an immediate start in their London HQ.

**Key responsibilities: **- To develop relationships both internally and externally

• Carry out preinspections and building surveys to identify defects
• Update and maintain systems/records to ensure data is up to date
• Preparation of detailed reports, specifications and cost estimates
• Providing technical advice on defects and diagnosis. Including the day to day repair service and carrying out post inspections of repairs to help better manage contractors
• Ensure effective repair solutions ensuring all regulations are complied with
• Ensure budget responsibilities are met in relation to forecasting plans
• Follow the companies health and safety policies and procedures
• Work closely and flexibly with other staff to deliver a high quality maintenance service
• Provide regular and professional communication and liaison with customer
• Manage contractors, ensuring they deliver to KPI's
• To assist in the delivery of specialist work programs
• Give evidence in court cases where building regulations have been breached and be an expert witness on building defects

**Essential
**- Degree in Building Surveying or Similar technical qualification

• Experience in building pathology
• Experience in defect diagnostics
• Experience in disrepair claims
• UK driving license
