Graduate Consultant, Climate Change and EIA to join the team to work on Climate change, sustainability and EIA projects for our client base. The team is based across the UK. This is a
Mixed working model switching between home and office so must be commutable to
Manchester or Chester. This is a
Permanent, Full time vacancy.
- RSK Nature Positive's Carbon & Sustainability team provides top quality sustainability and environmental advice and assurance to a variety of sectors. RSK support, advise and audit BREEAM evidence for a variety of clients and design teams with upwards of 40 projects on the go at any one time across the UK. We have successfully completed BREEAM Assessments for many top contractors and sectors to 'Outstanding' and 'Excellent' ratings_
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering greenhouse gas assessments ('carbon footprints'), assurance and verification, including lifecycle assessments and reporting
- Carrying out construction and infrastructure embodied and lifecycle carbon assessments
- Climate risk work, including TCFD and contributing to climate change chapters and sustainability appraisals of Environmental Impact Assessments
- Involvement in stakeholder communication, consultation and engagement activities including stakeholder workshops
- Carbon management or climate action plan development
- Sciencebased target setting
Person Specification
- Working on Climate Change EIA chapters, to include climate change risk and greenhouse gas assessments
- Non-EIA climate risk work, including TCFD and climate change risk assessments
- Inputting into Climate Change chapters for international Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) & Additional responsibilities
- Delivering greenhouse gas assessments ('carbon footprints'), assurance and verification, lifecycle assessments and reporting
- Carbon management or climate action plan development
- BREEAM or built environment sustainability work.
