We have a great opportunity for
Site Engineers to join our growing engineering team working on our busy framework with the Anglian Water, Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) framework.


About The Project
Anglian Water has created a new delivery enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance.

"SPA" is creating hundreds of kilometres of new, interconnecting pipelines to help combat the impact of climate change and keep fresh, clean water flowing across the Anglian Water region.

The new network is one of the largest infrastructure projects for a generation and is a complex and challenging major infrastructure project.


About the role
Our Site Engineers will be critical to the successful delivery of the Strategic Pipeline Alliance, reporting to the Senior Site Engineer and Site Agent they will be responsible for:
Management of day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals.
Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety and environmental management.

The location will be spread over the North and South of Peterborough.


Key Responsibilities
Overseeing quality control and assist in the implementation of SPA's SHEQ vision. Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress
Collaborative working - Supporting the Senior Site Engineer and Site Agent with day to day running of the site
Acting under the Site Manager as a supervisor on site for specialist subcontractors
Transferring digital and paper data/drawings onto site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping

About You
Can demonstrate experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work, within the Water sector
Work with site management team to help deliver site safety, productivity and culture
Can take a lead on ensuring our product is right first time
Has a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done
Proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
