EYFS Teaching Assistant

Veritas Education have an amazing opportunity to work in a wonderful school based in Wakefield as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.

The school are seeking for a bright, creative, and a dynamic individual who has an interest in potentially becoming teachers in the future but would first like to gain classroom experience first before fully committing to any teacher programme.

The Opportunity:

Wonderful School based in Wakefield
Fulltime role (Monday to Friday)

- £350 - £425 weekly (Term time only)

January 2023 Start
Chance to gain classroom experience and build your confidence before teacher training
Work with pupils from a variety of backgrounds
Work in the early years foundation stage and KS1

The successful graduate must:

Have a DBS on the update service (
preferred not essential)
Be passionate about supporting children with their learning
The ability to keep children engaged and motivated
Be enthusiastic, friendly, and confident
Be able to commit for the rest of the academic year (until July 2023)
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Have strong communication skills
Have good behaviour management skills
A commitment to helping children reach their full potential

You will be working in a classroom alongside the teacher to help support children's learning in addition to providing a safe and inclusive environment where all children's needs are established and valued.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a registration interview

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.

We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
