Worley is currently recruiting a Rope Access Supervisor for fixed term contract.


Key Aims and Objectives:


  • Assist in ensuring all Projects / Company HSEQ goals are achieved and where possible exceeded.
  • Effective liaison with any Client / Vendor Representatives.
  • Deliver a high standard service to the Projects, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is always implemented.

Role Requirements:


  • They shall ensure that Worley rope access procedures are implemented and that all technicians understand the requirements.
  • They shall be responsible for the rope access work on site and shall liaise with the Team Leader for work scope management.
  • They shall be responsible for checking the worksites weather exposure and deciding if the work can be carried out safely.
  • They shall supervise the rigging of rope systems and anchorage points, plan and set up rescue/recovery systems to suit each work site and ensure that all team members are aware of any rescue/recovery system and how to use it.
  • They shall be responsible for the inspection of rope systems before any access work begins.
  • They shall inspect all rope systems that have been left insitu between shifts.
  • They shall ensure all rope access specific documentation is correctly completed and returned to the Rope Access Technical Authority.
  • Ensure any Hold Harmless agreements are in place and complete

Person Spec:

Essential

Offshore Certification:


  • IRATA Level 3 qualification
  • First Aid Certification
  • BOSIET / MIST / Approved Offshore Medical

Experience
Essential

  • Previous experience in similar Rope Access supervisor roles
  • Knowledge and experience in Rope Access operations within the offshore construction industry.
  • Planning, risk assessment and execution of Rope Access operations
  • Supervision of Rope Access operations
  • Interactions with client representatives.
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
  • Knowledge of Rope Access techniques, regulatory requirements, and planning methods,
  • Good planning and risk assessment skills
  • Good communication and documentation skills
