Physical Education Teacher - Alternative Provision

Physical Education Teacher required to teach small classes of Key stage 3 & 4 students at an Ofsted "GOOD" alternative provision in Solihull.

Are you a Qualified PE Teacher with excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport quicklywith students who have faced academic and social barriers.

This established Alternative Provision with outstanding leadership are looking to add an energetic and proactive Physical Education Teacher, who has a passion for inspiring and motivating studentsand building self-esteem.

As a Physical Education Teacher you will be joining an established team of teachers who thrive on enabling children to overcome barriers to education.

You will be teaching GCSE and BTEC PE to small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students with SEMH needs.

This rolerequires a QTS or QTLS Physical Education Teacher who has previous experience working with challenging behaviour.

Job Role:

  • Teaching GCSE and BTEC Physical Education to small classes
  • Effectively managing classroom behaviours
  • Planning and preparing engaging and interactive lessons
  • Acting as a positive role model for students who have faced academic and social barriers
  • Promoting an active lifestyle, healthy eating and selfesteem
  • Utilising a range of excellent facilities and resources to deliver PE Lessons
