Description

We are looking for two evening cleaning operatives with experience preferred and full training will be given, for a site based in the University of Manchester, duties to include working as part of a cleaning team, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning office areas, washrooms, kitchen areas and communal areas.

Successful applicants must be ready to start on 11th April.


Responsibilities:


  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations in the workplace.
  • Observe and fulfill legal discrimination laws.
  • Comply with other relevant legislation and regulations at all times.
  • Adopt a professional manner in all dealings with customers, suppliers, contractors, and staff.
  • Inform relevant people about unsafe situations or practices.
  • Ensure that buildings are clean and tidy when not in use.
  • Maintain buildings, where necessary practicing safe use of heavy cleaning equipment.
  • Report to management any dangerous or unhealthy situations or staff/customer concerns that need addressing immediately.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 15 per week


Salary:
Up to £11.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

One location
