Description

The Risk organization's Chief Administrative Officer is looking for a
Head of Risk Transformation Execution to coordinate the successful execution of Risk Management's commitments in the overall Citi Transformation program.

The role will work closely with Citi Chief Risk Officer, various Transformation and Program leads and the Project Management office to ensure the successful execution of the Transformation programs


Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Risk CAO on the development and execution of the Risk Transformation plan, goals and objectives including the Risk and Control program

Review plans, narratives and target states to ensure they are coherent and connected and address all regulatory and internal requirements


Actively participate and coordinate with the Citi Transformation Program Office on the overall program ensuring Independent Risk Management's concerns and issues are addressed on a timely basis.

Review and contribute materials to the weekly Sponsor forums and meetings with internal senior stakeholders, including Board directors

Review quarterly progress reports that will be presented to internal and external stakeholders including Board directors.


Work with the Director of Communications, the Transformation Global Public Affairs (GPA) Team on the articulation of the Risk and Control Transformation journey including the provision of content information.


Work closely with the Transformation Leads, Program Leads, and Project Management Office to ensure staffing is adequate to meet the commitments made in the Transformation plan.


Identify bottlenecks and derive solutions to enable programs remain on track and escalate areas of concern that are not being addressed on a timely basis.

Lead or assist with the execution of milestones assigned to the CAO office that arise from other Transformation programs including specifically those arising from the Accountability, Culture, Talent, Compliance or MEBI programs

Build credible and trusting relationships with partners within Risk, the Central CAO Transformation office and other stakeholders in first line units on the execution of the plan

Ad hoc projects as necessary.


Qualifications

  • Highly experienced in leading complex and largescale changing initiatives,
  • Experience in working with senior internal and external stakeholders including regulators
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness and ability to work across all levels of organization, including experience with executive level presentations and communications
  • Ability to influence teams, with nondirect reporting lines, including teams comprised of senior managers to garner support and secure buyin across a wide range of stakeholders to deliver excellent outcomes
  • Ability to create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers
  • Quick learner, with ability to understand complex requirements and translate into clear and simple guidance for the business
  • Strategic thinker with track record of execution excellence
  • Demonstrated thought leadership with the ability to develop a strategic vision
  • Excellent people leadership skills to develop and retain high performing talent
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and easily adapts to changing demands and priorities
  • Selfstarter who can work independently and with limited supervision
  • Selfmotivated and results oriented
  • Extensive years of experience required in a financial services role / Citi experience preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which came into effect on 7 March 2016.

In order to comply with the requirements of the Certification Regime, Citi entities must take reasonable care to ensure that an employee does not perform a Certified Role without first being certified as Fit and Proper.

For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above.


This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks.
