What you'll be doing
We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to lead a product group comprising up to 4 cross-functional product teams.

You'll pair closely with colleagues from Engineering, Design, and Data and be responsible for the overall strategy, vision, discovery andleadership of your teams.

In addition, you'll collaborate with multiple stakeholders and SMEs from across the business including, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a Product group at HL comprising up to 4 crossfunctional product teams
  • Coach, line manage and develop the 46 Product Managers or Senior Product Managers in your group.
  • Work with the PMs and Senior PMs to craft and drive the overall vision and strategy for your group
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation so that you and the group provide for the company short
- and long-term goals

  • Own and prioritise a strategic product roadmap for your group based on a healthy balance of innovation, iterative improvements, reducing tech debt and maintenance & support.
  • As senior member of the Product Team you'll be responsible for directing conversations around what's important and what can wait, channelling this into the team's roadmap
  • Identify tactics and discover solutions, prioritise, measure, and validate the success of work
  • Make sure that teams are strong and balanced including capabilities, happiness, resilience, and growth
  • Coach team in product methodologies such as experimentation and continuous discovery

About you

Essential criteria

  • 6+ years' experience in a Product Manager role
  • 2+ years 'experience in directly coaching, mentoring and line managing multiple Product Managers
  • Experience in defining and driving product strategy across several teams where you've had to align and connect efforts
  • Excellent leadership, storytelling, and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding
  • Passionate about product and user experience customers are at the heard of what you do, and that empathy drives your decisions
  • Datadriven, decisions you share with the wider team have been validated and are clearly presented using all available data you've collected
  • Deep knowledge of product methods, frameworks, and tools for Delivery and Discovery

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working in Financial Services, Banking or FinTech
