The role


This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking for a challenging and exciting role within the Technical Services team, the team supports students and staff across Arts & Humanities and Science & Engineering Maker Workshop spaces.


About you

  • You will be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills and experience covering a broad range of Engineering/Craft Maker disciplines.
  • Possess a sound knowledge of relevant Health &Safety legislation associated with operations within a workshop/laboratory environment.
  • We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills with an enthusiasm to provide help and support to staff and students.
  • Desirable attributes are flexibility to work across faculties, multidisciplinary, a proactive and positive attitude
