CML are looking for a General Foreman to work on the Network Rail, Rail infrastructure contracts, reactive and planned.

Role & Responsibilities

As a General Foreman at CML, you will ensure an effective deployment of personnel, plant, subcontractors and equipment to achieve the allocated site activities within the allowed programme period.

You will work on the Western CAM Framework for Network Rail, based from our depot in Glastonbury, undertaking railway maintenance work including but not limited to civils and scour works.

You will be responsible for organising, motivating and supervising site operatives and subcontractors at all times.

You will have the confidence and motivation to carry out inductions, daily site briefings of method statements and activities, daily inspections and record any changes to methods of work or site conditions.

A key part of this role will be to have full understanding of work objectives, programmes and project details to ensure the contract is carried out correctly to timescales and mark up programmes and drawings with the progress on a weekly basis.

Suitably qualified by experience (preferred)

SSSTS / SMSTS (Desirable

Continued professional development courses as appropriate (Desirable)
