Salary:
: £28,000 to £35,000 (Depending Upon Experience)


Contract Type:
Permanent


Weekly Hours: 37 Hours (Flexi Hours)

Work Pattern:
Monday - Friday (Hybrid working, Maximum 2 days per week in office)

Our client, who is an established accountancy firm in Cheshire and a sister company to a Top 20 firm of accountants and business advisors, are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their current friendly team.

If you are ACCA or ACA qualified (or QBE) withexperience working in a similar practice role with audit experience this opportunity could be perfect for you.


Purpose

  • Plan audit assignments, conduct onsite and remote audit fieldwork in accordance with the agreed plan and complete all aspects of the electronic audit file
  • Complete and review statutory accounts prepared by trainee team members, including all required disclosures
  • Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Management reporting along with cash flow and budgetary reports for clients
  • Working with the audit manager and junior team members as a client focussed team
  • Will be ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE with experience of working within a similar role
  • Can complete audits, to a good level, from start to finish
  • Has the ability to coach, motivate and supervise junior members of the team
  • Is relentless in problem solving, providing solutions in a timely and thorough manner whilst working in a high pressure environment
  • Possesses the confidence in front of clients and others more senior than you and is not afraid to challenge where necessary
