Description

We are seeking passionate and experienced supply teachers to work with special needs students of all age ranges across all East London boroughs, including Tower Hamlets, Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Newham, and Redbridge.

As a supply teacher for special needs, you will work with students with varying needs, from autism to social emotional mental health (SEMH).

You will have the opportunity to work in a range of educational settings, including mainstream and special schools,ensuring that all students receive the best possible support.

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK
Experience working with special needs students, particularly those with autism and SEMH
Ability to work effectively in a range of educational settings
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents

Responsibilities:

Deliver highquality teaching to special needs students of all ages
Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and tailor teaching to meet the needs of each student
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support the students' progress
Ensure that all safeguarding and health and safety policies are followed
