RMS are currently recruiting for
Production Operator to join our client who are a market leader in the design and manufacture of engineered products in Shildon.

You must have an in-date Counterbalance Licence
and minimum of 1 year experience with driving this type of Forklift within a manufacturing or similar environment due to the large size of products.

The working hours for this role are working Monday to Friday, 8AM until 4:30PM.

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Accurately unload, check and de-stock product when replenishment locations are empty. Drop off completed paperwork to goods in administrator.
Pick products accurately and deliver to manufacturing areas on time in full.
Any laminate stock outs, add to supply chain stock out sheet with décor detail and size.
Organise workload to prevent machine downtime, move across different production lines work ensuring lines do not run out of work.
Ensure damages found are recorded and written off.
Report near misses and unsafe observations on H&S board.
Complete daily 5S activity
Improve inventory accuracy.
Involvement in project implementation where required.
Take an active lead in Stock counts.
Learn loading and end of line job role

The salary is £11.50 per hour and this is a temporary to permanent position.
