We are hiring for
Procurement Officer (Buyer / Commercial / Contracts)

Location :
Belfast - Hybrid

  • Implement and manage procurements to deliver Value for Money solutions within the procurement policy, legal and accountability frameworks
  • Should be able to develop appropriate sourcing, pricing and assessment strategies in specific category areas
  • Highly preferred expertise working with tenders, public sector projects and oraclebased system.
  • Assessing current strategies, cost data and commodity profiles along with business needs in order to convert gathered intelligence into a proposed strategy
  • Should have expertise in facilitating the delivery of contractual arrangements and supporting structures required to deliver results. Using knowledge gained and commercial awareness to embed a category management approach
  • Highly preferred MCIPS

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£21.00-£29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Procurement / Buyer / Commercial / Contracts: 4 years (preferred)
Public Sector Projects: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • MCIPS / CIPS (preferred)
