Overview:


You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 AWS Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship.


An IT Apprentice at AND Digital will be trained over a period of 16-months to achieve a permanent position of IT Support Technician.

We will mentor you and offer training to equip you for the duties of building, troubleshooting and improving our internalservices.


Salary:

£17,000 - £21,000 per annum.


Apprentice IT Technician Training Areas:


  • You will be expected to assist in the daytoday technical support.
  • Over a period of time, you will understand the IT Service Management framework
and how it is used to support and resolve service issues.

  • Over a period of time, you will understand the components of the IT infrastructure
ranging from cloud services to mobile clients and the roles of all components in

  • You will gain exposure to service delivery projects learning the processes and work
flows required for successful delivery.

  • You should be able to listen to others & accept input from other team members.
  • You should be able to clearly articulate ideas & thoughts verbally.
  • You will gain an understanding of IT support best practice.
  • You will become proficient in IT support.
  • You will provide laptop support, troubleshooting, rebuilding and sending off for repair
where necessary.

  • You will gain an understanding of networking components and the functions they
  • You will gain working knowledge of Google Workspace, and Microsoft products.
  • You will gain proficiency in Google Workspace and Okta Administration.
  • You will gain experience in Kandji and intune MDM and MAM.
  • You will gain basic knowledge of cloud services and the roles they play within a
growing business.

Experience:


  • CompTIA A+, Windows 10, macOS, Google Workspace, MDM, Networking and Development Fundamentals.

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

Future prospects:

Full time position within AND Digital and further training opportunities once the apprenticeship is completed. We also provide opportunities to work with different teams, who have different skillsets to help your development.


Important Information:


QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.


To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
