About the role
We're seeking a diligent and proactive Risk and Compliance Administrator to join our team in Spinningfields, Manchester.

Working as part of the Compliance team, the role will largely involve supporting the Compliance Manager as well as the other functions across the business.

You will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the senior management team.


Responsibilities:


  • Conducting identification and verification of individual investors, Company Directors and Company shareholders.
  • Supporting the drafting of Financial Crime Risk Assessments, conflict of interest and NSIA assessments.
  • Managing GDPR related tasks, including data protection registration, to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the investigation of any complaints received by the company.
  • Aiding the Compliance Team in the delivery of its monitoring
framework.

  • Taking minutes at designated board or committee meetings.
  • Supporting the company to ensure that records are kept throughout the organisation to evidence compliance with FCA requirements and to facilitate accurate regulatory reporting.
  • Support the facilitation of the company's training programme.
  • Assist in the provision of accurate and timely management information where required.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Previous experience within a compliance function in a FCA regulated firm or other financial services company is desirable but not essential.

Skills:


  • Previous administrative and/or secretarial experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to work to
deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Enjoy the challenge of taking on new tasks and logical problem solving
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
