Description

With practical responsibility for ensuring that products and services are delivered on time by using the full procurement lifecycle and assets are tracked accurately and effectively, your aim will be to ensure that the day to day demands for dealing with requests are fulfilled in a consistent and efficient manner.

Reporting to the IT Supply Chain Manager, this role works with multiple suppliers, internal functions, directly with consumers, and ensures that initial and post procurement activities are carried out effectively. Key responsibilities:

Raising purchase orders

Working with suppliers for quotes, ordering and delivery tracking

Generating request tickets

Invoice processing

Calculating recharges

Stock management

Asset management

Scheduling and booking training

Booking meeting rooms and travel

Resolving queries from finance

License/subscription procurement

Dealing with maintenance renewals

Contract management

Provide training and handover for cover

Some travel will be necessary

Has worked within a busy department in a similar role

Has a keen eye for detail

Ensures information is recorded accurately

Well organised and able to prioritise multiple workstreams

Able to communicate effectively

Delivers a "best-in-class" service

Ensures quality is first and foremost in every activity undertaken

Advanced standard with the Microsoft Office suite of productivity tools

Able to work effectively and efficiently, in line with demands of the business
