We have a position for a Registered Manager at our brand-new Children's Residential Home in Doncaster

Salary:£43,513pa - £55,203pa (actual will dependent on skills, training and experience).

We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Manager to lead the management team and drive the service forward, promoting and delivering the highest possible standards of care to vulnerable children whilst simultaneously making a house a home.


As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Home which includes:

  • Development, implementation and monitoring of individual Care Plans for children aged 12-1
  • Providing and maintain a safe, secure and homely environment
  • Leadership, mentoring and guidance of an established staff team
  • Ensuring of staff training and development
  • Recruitment and Induction of new staff
  • Support children and staff to reach their full potential
  • Compliance with legislation, policy and Ofsted requirements
  • Have a Level 3 Children Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Possess a Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management qualification is desirable. _However, this is not essential and can be provided for successful applicants._
  • A minimum of two years experience working within residential care
  • Have experience of managing, leading, developing and motivating a staff team
  • Hold experience of supervising staff and appraising performance
  • Have a good understanding of current legislation and Ofsted requirements
  • Patience and empathy towards some of the issues and challenges faced by children
  • Have the ability to deal with emotional and behavioural difficulties and stay calm under pressure.
  • Be able to work flexibly and go to the extra mile
