Senior Administrator-Corporate Actions (Jersey)


What is the opportunity?
Analyse event announcements through to entitlement processing and reconciliation.

Ensuring client notifications are clear and concise prior to publishing, and handling ongoing training requirements.

Ensuring client entitlements are accurately reconciled prior to posting, and handling any ongoing training requirements.

Assist the Corporate Actions Assistant Manager with daily oversight and monitoring of outsourced corporate action activities.


What will you do?

  • Analysis and publishing of subcustodian notifications/confirmations
  • Reconciliation and posting of entitlements resulting from corporate actions to client accounts, in line with any currency deadlines allowing for positioning by the Treasury Services team
  • Ongoing adherence and development of risk management controls/procedures throughout the event management of all allocated Corporate Actions
  • Review and approval of tasks completed by Administrators and control sheet completion/sign off
  • Allocation of support for other functional areas in Securities Operations where excessive volumes or increased risks to the business may present themselves
  • Provide support and assistance to Assistant Manager / Manager, inclusive of any required project/audit work where required
  • The escalation to Assistant Manager of all matters which may present a financial or reputational risk
  • Provide support to EL Administration Team in circumstances where volume/resourcing demands it

Must-have

  • Must possess practical corporate actions experience.
  • Must possess a broad technical knowledge of market practices in several regions.

Nice-to-have

  • Practical experience across a range of Investment Operations teams.
  • Relevant qualifications
