Company client currently partnered with a Reinsurance firm in their search for a R&D (Research & Development) Actuary.
This is a unique opportunity that will work close in an diverse team of actuaries, data scientists and statisticians.

This role will be responsible for researching any developments in the Life / Protection market and you will be expected to understand and presenton these developments with affect the mortality and morbidity risks that the firms clients face.

Manage any emerging risks in the UK Protection market.
Provide assumptions data for the reporting and pricing teams.
Provide data science support and guidance to the business on new technologies and initiatives that will help provide a better service to their client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking Actuary or Data Scientist who wants to help change how a Re-insurer operates.

This role will have lots of interactions with the Business Development, Pricing and Reporting teams.
Protection Pricing experience will be consider but you must also demonstrate further commercial experience.
