About Our Client:
The client I am representing is a well-established part of the Not For Profit and Charities sector within Lancashire.
They provide services and guidance to the community and are part of the Education Sector within Lancashire and the surrounding area.
The key responsibilities of a Finance Assistant include, but may not be limited to:- Providing reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and other transnational processes in the month end process.
- Providing the contingent account i.e. banking and cash handling.
- Assisting with internal and external audits and implementing recommendations.
- Make referrals to internal and external partners.
- Maintain and build rapport with budget holders and other employees providing financial advice and support where necessary.
- Experience of preparation of accounts receivable invoices and recording income and aged debt.
The Successful Applicant:
The successful a Finance Assistant should possess:
- Experience within the Higher Education sector is preferred
- Experience maintaining reconciliations and variance analysis
- Exceptional IT skills
- The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with a wide spectrum of people.
- Proven experience within Finance.
- Ability to reliably commute to Lancashire.

- Immediate start opportunity
- Excellent hourly rate between £ £13.00.
- 12month temporary contract with possibility of extension.
- Full time hours (37 hours per week).
