Salary:
£58,000+ (depending on skills and experience)


What you'll be doing:


  • Supporting and partnering with the business to identify and implement ways to ensure all financial and operational targets are achieved
  • Provide financial insight and propose actions to improve the underlying financial performance of the function
  • Integrate within the Manufacturing Operations Senior Management team to become a trusted Business Partner
  • Identify Business cases to improve Manufacturing Productivity and develop the underlying financial viability to drive operational improvements
  • Review and challenge of 5 Year Business Plans (Budgets) driving margin expansion and cash conversion to ensure that we are maximising shareholder value. Develop and drive focus on Working Capital Management to leverage the balance sheet for maximum value
  • Driving process improvements, with particular focus on accuracy of forecasting and delivery of cost opportunities including driving the opportunity management process

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:


  • Preferably has experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with nonFinance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders demonstrating business acumen
  • Someone who can adapt to change quickly and be an ambassador for the function
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to reprioritise to meet key deadlines, good communication skills, team player, ability to challenge and influence the business and have a proactive and inquisitive nature

Desirable:


  • Evidence of a true financial partner in the business with the ability to work with cross functional stake holders

In the Manufacturing Team you will work alongside Operations, CAMs, Procurement, Commercial, Project Management, and Finance - Working cross-functionally is a vital part of this role
