Age UK Bristol is looking for bank Support Workers to join our friendly team at the New Beginnings Day Centre and Home Support Service.
Our services support older adults to stay independent at home, participate in fun activities and be an active part of their community.
Experience of working with older people or in the care sector is not essential. It is more important that you enjoy working with people, have an empowering attitude and are reliable.You will benefit from:

Day Centre Bank Staff
A typical day at New Beginnings includes welcoming services users so that they feel comfortable and valued, supporting them to engage in meaningful activities such as gardening and music, ensuring service users enjoy their food and refreshments, and delivering high quality personal care with respect.
Home Support Bank Staff
Our Home Support service visits people at home for a minimum of one hour to enable us to build a relationship with the service user and deliver unrushed support.
We enable family carers to take a break, spend time with our service users doing activities they enjoy, and undertake light housework.
We do not deliver personal care nor administer medication.Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

£10.50 per hour
