Your Local Tutors was initially a small service operating out of the founder's residential home in Wimbledon. Eventually, our founder became exceptionally busy spending her weekends legging it around London to visit her favourite little ones.Since then, Your Local Tutors has taken the bull by the horns and expanded the service to be there when children and families need us the most.
It is no longer run by the founder alone as we have a range of tutors and specialise in connecting them to the children who need us.
Our work often involves supporting a student to catch up with the curriculum, prepping students for sitting an entry exam, assisting them to master a particular topic or mentoring to build up confidence- whatever it is, we're here At Your Local Tutors, we aim to leave all of our students feeling a little more empowered and a lot more inspired.

We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors We are looking for a warm and encouraging tutor in Cobham/Kingston/Twickenham for one of the vacant roles that we have near Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon Station. THIS FAMILY HAVE REQUESTED A WOMAN. The role entails tutoring a girl in year 2 providing early maths and english practice for her 11 Plus entrance exam(s). The tutor will be paid £20ph. The family would prefer a tutor with weekend morning availability however they are open to weekday evenings if need be. Please do read the eligibility criteria below carefully to ensure that you meet the requirements for this role.

ELIGIBILITY:
-
MUST have teaching experience e.g. a teaching assistant, teacher and/or anyone with previous teaching/tutoring experience (REQUIRED)
- Tutor must be a
woman as per the families request (REQUIRED) - Must be available for weekly face to face sessions (REQUIRED)
- Must
drive (REQUIRED) - Be available for an immediate start (REQUIRED)
Job Types:
Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 1 per week
Salary:
£20.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Weekend availability
