As Superintendent you will:

Health Safety & Environmental

Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments and makes improvements as appropriate
Communicate and record any and all HSE accident / incidents
Promote Zero Harm whilst in the offshore environment
Ensure that RAMS are followed correctly and manage change to RAMS whilst offshore
Check those activities take place in a safe and controlled manner in accordance with RAMS and maritime regulations
Monitor and check vessel permit to work
Carry out safety audit/inspections

Quality

Acts as a witness / hold point signatory for offshore activities identified by ITPs
Reviews, checks and feeds back on quality related activities and documentation
Implements systems and processes to support construction of the works in accordance with the specification
Communicates on activities and ensures that quality standards are adhered to
Carries out site / vessel Audits to check works and documentation compliance
Liaises with package managers and subcontractors to resolve technical issues

Commercial

Understands cost and value
Understands the commercial mechanism in place for offshore activities and the requirement for information to support this (e.g. weather downtime mechanism

Our client requires a Superintendent with:

Good leadership skills
Wideranging independent judgment evident
Previous experience in a similar role (offshore client representative or similar)
Nuclear experience
Experience with a wide range of offshore projects
Abatec Ltd. is working as an employment business on behalf of a client._

Salary:
£500.00-£575.00 per day
