Are you a qualified Accountant with experience of working within the Social Housing market? Do you have strong financial and management reporting experience? As a specialist provider of resource to the Property & Associated Technology markets, Informed Recruitmentare delighted to be partnering with a social enterprise offering you the opportunity to make a difference and take over the responsibility of financial and management reporting whilst the business implements a new enterprise accountancy software solution.

The role is offered on an initial 6-12-month consultancy basis, entirely home based, and quotes are welcome both inside and outside of IR35.


The objective of the role will be to ensure financial and management reporting is produced in a timely and precise manner.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include the provision of management and statutory accounts at an entity level; the provision of KPIand variance analysis in monthly reporting to senior management; period-end close processes; maintaining system logs and control sheets; the preparation and posting of financial journals; assisting in preparing statutory accounts; balance sheet reconciliations;audit assistance; tax returns; helps with process and systems improvements; and documentation.


Must Have

  • You will be a qualified accountant with suitable certification (such as AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA and CIPFA) and have a successful commercial track record in Accountancy.
  • Experience working within Social Housing.
  • Strong Management/Financial Accountancy and Reporting experience with current knowledge of FRS10
  • You will have the ability to price high quality information at an entity level, illustrating performance versus budget and forecast.
