Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to dig and move materials at construction sites.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Duties:


  • Operate excavator equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and other designated areas
  • Load and unload materials using the excavator
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance on the excavator, such as checking fluid levels and greasing parts
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:


  • Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or similar setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment maintenance
  • Valid CPCS Plant Operator ticket with Lifting endorsement on your tickets
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
  • Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Physical stamina to withstand long hours of sitting and operating heavy machinery

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months


Pay:
£17.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
