Description

Our client a leading firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Outsourcing Manager to join their growing media team in the West End, London.

You will be responsible for managing a variety of clients in the media industry including those in theatre, advertising, TV and film, overseeing the outsourcing function and providing all outsourcing services, as well as overseeing and supporting a teamand being involved with business developments.

Key duties include:

Oversee the media specialist business outsourcing team
Motivate and encourage the team
Review work of junior team members, coaching on the job, provide feedback to team members
Organise additional training for the team in tech, accounting and tax matters where required
Understand client businesses and build relationships with key client contacts
Automate processes appropriately to improve efficiencies of client deliverables
Reporting updates to partners and directors of deliverable deadlines
Work with the general practice team to ensure appropriate accounting policies are applied and accurate year end reporting is delivered
Assist with pitches and proposals for prospective clients
Billing outsourcing work and monitoring for scope creep and need for additional fees
Project management for on boarding of jobs

You will ideally have a strong background in outsourcing, preferably within a managerial role in practice and have good technical knowledge of accounting and VAT matters.

Experience of media clients is not essential but would be helpful.

A good understanding of cloud based accounting packages, Xero, QBO and add ons such as Fathom and Dext would also be an advantage.
