About this role:

We are recruiting for a
Commercial Account Handlerto join our team in
Wolverhampton, on a full time basis.

The purpose of your role will be to assist with the provision of technical, administrative and client service support to the insurance service Sales Executives/Directors.


Overview of duties:


  • Responding to client/insurer/third party enquiries by written or oral means.
  • Reviewing the demands and needs of clients and advise on the most appropriate insurances to meet their demands and needs.
  • Instructing Insurers of customer requirements.
  • Informing customers of Insurers requirements.
  • Obtaining, collating and presenting information for the purposes of obtaining quotations.
  • Assessing, assimilating, analysing and presenting to Insurers to achieve risk acceptance for both new and renewal business
  • Seeking quotations from Insurers/rating guides/on line facilities.
  • Analysing and comparing covers and quotations.
  • Liaising with Claims Unit Manager, Account Executives/Directors on communications received.
  • Presenting quotations/reports/documents to Account Executives/Directors.
  • Managing client renewals including renewal documentation, renewal quotations and accounting procedures ensuring FCA deadlines are adhered to.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management
  • Be proactive, innovative and able to take the initiative.

Education and experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years Account Handling experience
  • Expert knowledge of insurance is desirable
  • Good knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements

Salary:
Competitive depending upon experience


Hours: 35 hours Monday - Friday


Location:
Wolverhampton (Hybrid)
