My client, based in Bury, require Warehouse Operatives to work in a busy environment for a company that stock thermal insulation.


Responsibilities:


  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
  • Move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts or other equipment
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Utilise warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy of orders and identify any damaged or defective items
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and organising stock
  • Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is beneficial
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
The working hours are Monday to Friday

Temp to perm


Salary:
£10.42 per hour
