    Legal Counsel

    Stark, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its UK-based legal team.

    The successful candidate will work across all Stark UK businesses, providing support to the Senior Legal Counsel and assisting with commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Legal Counsel.
    • Supervise and instruct the Legal Assistant.
    • Advise on commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution strategies.
    • Support the business with strategic planning and decision-making.
    • Develop self-help tools and guidance for the business on key legal matters.

    Requirements:

    • UK-qualified solicitor with 2+ years of PQE.
    • Training and experience in reviewing, drafting, and advising on commercial contracts.
    • Strong influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
    • Ability to balance legal and commercial requirements.
    • Dedicated team player with a genuine interest in the broader commercial context.
