About the Role:


We are looking for a full-time Dispensing Optician Practice Manager to join us in leading the team, including two Assistant Managers, to delivering outstanding patient care.


You will be an integral part of our leadership team here, helping us drive our service offering forward, always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate.


We are also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first, and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs.

Equally important to us is the way you interact with patients. Providing a friendly, informative, and empathetic service is a must.

Ultimately, you must be an ambassador for our Kerr Eyecare brand and profession within the local Croydon community.


Educating others about the benefits of independent eye care is an ongoing challenge and one that we look forward to meeting head-on with you as a part of our team.


About Us
We are a committed independent, dedicated to providing our patients with high-quality care and an exceptional experience in practice.


Additional Information:

  • Our frame selection includes Tom Ford, Prada, William Morris, Ray-Ban, Pro-Design and Silhouette
  • We often use Hoya and Lenstech lenses but will always dispense what the patient needs first and foremost
  • We have two consulting rooms plus a prescreen area
  • We are a team of six, which includes another resident Dispensing Optician and an Optical Assistant, who both perform Assistant Manager duties, plus a Receptionist and two resident Optoms, and locum support as needed during the year
  • The role requires you to work on Saturdays


Our local community is part of our identity here and we constantly see the benefits our work has when we're out and about in the area.

We play a significant part in the local Croydon Eyecare Service, but also work closely with Moorfields and other serviceproviders to meet the need of our local community, plus our resident Optometrist is working towards their IP accreditation to further support our community.
