Main Purpose of Job

Working within our varied and flexible support services throughout the North East you will be responsible for actively promoting the rights of young people and service users as individuals by providing them with quality support in accordance with the policies and procedures of our organisation.
You will be supporting those most vulnerable in our society to achieve stability, consistency and a sense of belonging throughout often challenging time.
You will assist in the provision of a safe and homely environment to help young people/service users achieve their potential by supporting them as per their individual support agreement.
This will entail the ability to work within our Equal Opportunities and Quality Assurance framework and abide by our Safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant qualification is desirable e.g. Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent but not essential as enrolment on training courses will be available.
- 6 months experience in a relevant field is desirable but not essential as in house training will be provided.
- Transferable Adults and Childrens DBS is desirable but not essential
Salary:
£10.70 per hour
Shift:
- 12 hour shift
Experience:
Adult Care Work: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Adults DBS on the update service (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
