CONTRIBUTION OF THE ROLE
- Hybrid role with time split between our Prescription Customer Service team and our Distribution Customer Service Team
- Responsibility for the administration and internal sales function of distribution partners in a busy working environment
- Development and retention of business for our Prescription Safety eyewear category
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales order processing on to SAP ByD system
- Dealing with customer queries/enquiries/requests
- Maintaining and updating customer databases
- Sending and maintaining sample requests for sales team and customers
- Liaising with procurement department regarding stock and deliveries
- Invoicing and credits when necessary
- Back order management
- Management of returns
- Process management
- Analysis and progression of lapsed prescription accounts
- Conversion of manual to online ordering on our portal for prescription accounts
- Administration of prescription accounts where required

- Knowledge of SAP ByD system beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given
- Experience of implementing/ using EDI solutions for order processing would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Experience of using a CRM system.
- Experience in the PPE field
- Experience in the optical sector, either sales or manufacturing would be beneficial, but not essential
