Description

CONTRIBUTION OF THE ROLE

  • Hybrid role with time split between our Prescription Customer Service team and our Distribution Customer Service Team
  • Responsibility for the administration and internal sales function of distribution partners in a busy working environment
  • Development and retention of business for our Prescription Safety eyewear category

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales order processing on to SAP ByD system
  • Dealing with customer queries/enquiries/requests
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases
  • Sending and maintaining sample requests for sales team and customers
  • Liaising with procurement department regarding stock and deliveries
  • Invoicing and credits when necessary
  • Back order management
  • Management of returns
  • Process management
  • Analysis and progression of lapsed prescription accounts
  • Conversion of manual to online ordering on our portal for prescription accounts
  • Administration of prescription accounts where required

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of SAP ByD system beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given
  • Experience of implementing/ using EDI solutions for order processing would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • Experience of using a CRM system.
  • Experience in the PPE field
  • Experience in the optical sector, either sales or manufacturing would be beneficial, but not essential
