IT Internship - Belfast, United Kingdom - MRP (GBP)

Description

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
• Repair and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, MacBooks and other computer hardware
• Provide technical support to employees for various software and hardware issues
• Utilize PowerShell scripts to automate IT processes and improve efficiency
• Maintain inventory of computer hardware and software
• Assist in the deployment of new technology, including hardware and software installations
• Provide training and support to employees on new technology and software
• Assist users during office desk moves
• Assist with racking servers, networking devices and other tasks in the data center

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing desktops, laptops, MacBooks, and other computer hardware
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting
• Performing troubleshooting steps to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace computer components i.e., motherboard, laptop LCD, keyboard etc.)
• Install OS or reimage laptops/desktops/macbooks
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively

Education:

• Currently enrolled in a computer science or related field of study, or equivalent experience
