The Mortgage Business Development Executive Role


Brokers are often restricted to a panel of lenders, whereas this company has access to the whole of the market, and in-depth specialised knowledge.

This allows you to assist your clients with complex mortgage scenarios where other brokerages and intermediaries aren't able to.


You will build up your client database of Brokers that will refer directly to you should they need assistance in packaging a Mortgage.


Your role will initially be business development, progressing into business development and account management as your client list and knowledge grows.

To help you settle into your business development role you won't be targeted for the first 3 months.

When ready, you can choose from the three pathways in the company:

  • Continue as a Business Development Manager
  • Become a Specialist Mortgage Advisor
  • Move into Commercial Finance

What you'll gain
This is an excellent opportunity to build your Mortgage Industry knowledge across residential and commercial lending.


You will gain an in depth understanding of whole of market lending and the best approach to handling complex Mortgage and finance cases.


You will gain experience in communication between multiple parties and each stage of the Mortgage process, making decisions on each case, identifying any issues, and solving complex cases.


The Mortgage Business development executive Package

  • Hours: 9am 5pm
  • CeMap Qualified salary: Up to £24k
  • First year OTE £30k+
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays + a day off for your birthday
  • Pension contribution
  • In house training and sponsored CeMap qualification within the first 12months

The ideal business development executive will have:

  • Experience in sales
  • CeMap Qualification Essential
  • Be able to build effective professional relationships
  • Confident and friendly personality
  • Have passion for financial services
  • CeMap Qualification is desirable but not essential
