We are looking for a talented IT Sales Manager to join our expanding IT MSP team. Working from a modern, open plan office; expect an exciting and varied role managing new business development.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing the sales team, coordinating sales operations and implementing sales techniques that allow the business to meet and surpass its targets consistently, you will manage, coordinate and contribute toall sales activity.

This role requires experience with the entire consultative sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. You will have strong negotiating skills and a successful track record. You will inspire the same performance inothers.

You will have experience to a conversational level, of modern technology solutions, including but not limited to; on-prem and cloud, with a focus on providing a consultative approach to business and technology problem solving.

You must have sufficient experienceto discuss confidently with prospects and assist the wider BDM team.
You will ideally have proven B2B IT/MSP business development experience.
Strong communication skills are essential, along with good knowledge of MS Office, and ideally experience working with CRM systems. You will be highly organised and process driven whilst retaining a creative outlook towards generating new business developmentideas.

The main requirements of role are:

  • Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
  • Research business needs and identify how our solutions could address them
  • Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts
  • Manage and further develop the full consultative sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Create and manage new business sales strategies in conjunction with the sales team/directors.
  • Research and identify potential new organisations and decisionmakers within a defined target audience online and via social media.
  • Nurture and build relationships with potential new clients via cold and warm calling, targeted networking, LinkedIn, social selling and other means.
  • Build and manage an effective sales pipeline for yourself and Directors, as appropriate.
  • Arranging appointments between leads and company representatives or yourself.
  • Fully develop and present proposals to potential new clients.

In return, we offer a salary of £40,000 - £80,000 basic salary per annum (depending on experience, with an uncapped OTE), flexible benefits, life assurance, health care plan, company pension contributions along with training and development opportunities.
