CNC Programmer

Location:
Bangor

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm anf Friday 07:30am-12:30am. Working hours can be flexible

About Us:

CRS are working with a global manufacturing company to find a CNC programmer to join their growing team.

They are looking for a CNC programmer to join the team, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing processes by translating design specifications into machine instructions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with the planning team to ensure work is completed to timescales and priorities.
  • Being accountable for all raw and work materials in your working area are accounted for.
  • Support production when your skills are not needed in setting.
  • Assist with stocking and selection of tooling/cutters.
  • Operation and setting of machinery, CNC auto machines and milling, to facilitate the manufacture of components as required.
  • Being proactive within the team and ensuring you have the equipment on the job to reduce down time.
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Familiar with manufacturing completion documents.
  • Ensuring consistent quality of parts are being produced.

Health and safety:


  • Follow all site health and safety procedures.
  • Follow all safe systems.
  • Report all health and safety concerns/issues in a timely manner to the Health and safety manager.

Qualifications and experience:


  • HNC in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2years CNC Programming experience
  • Ability to programme and set CNC machining and turning
  • An excellent understanding of CNC machining materials, mechanics and production processes
