Social Media Executive

Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Starting salary £21,000.00

Location:
Cheltenham (hybrid working - working from home two days per week, with the other three days in Cheltenham office)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with 1 hour lunch break

Well, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our ever-growing team as a Social Media Executive.

The Marketing Account Executive will report back to the Digital Director and liaise with both clients and the internal team on a regular basis to ensure delivery is of a high standard and meets expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with Account Managers to deliver client campaigns and projects that meet the client's brief and budget and deliver against objectives
Contributing creative ideas to campaigns/projects
Distributing media releases to the media and keeping the media contact lists up to date
Administration task such as daily media checks
Creating meaningful and engaging content for social media
Engaging with target markets and stakeholders via social media channels
Updating content on client websites
Researching and disseminating community news/events
Attending client and team meetings, when required

Person Specification

Essential:

Social media experience
Excellent general writing skills
Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of all social media platforms
Ability to travel to main Exeter office (at least once per month if based in Cheltenham office)

Desirable:

Experience in the retail or leisure industries
Willingness to travel within the UK on occasion
To support the wider team with social media cover where required
